Description

(WARNING: PRINCESS TUTU ENDING SPOILER)

I'm in the middle of writing my own fan-fiction/spin-off.

It's a story all on it's own, But with-out The ' Princess Tutu ' Story it wouldn't make much sence.

Title: "The Raven's Return"

It's about What Happens After Rue and Mytho are married and return to the realm Mytho came from. (The Story book Mytho was once in.)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
After being married, Rue and Mytho live happily ever after.
The end.
(Not quite)......
Quick Story plot / Preview:
Rue found out a while after she and her Beloved were wed, that she was expecting. When the time came, Mytho and Rue were blessed with a daughter. Princess Ruby. Ruby looked Just like her Mother but had her Father's beautiful Snow white hair.
Ruby was an Adventureus heart, and by the time she turned 10, she had wandered and explored every inch of her Mother's and Father's kingdom grounds. She lived in a beautiful Castle surounded by lovely forests and green hills. Ruby (Like her Parents) Took dance-lessons as a child. She took them with her Mother, and though she Loved dancing, she enjoyed exploring even more. Her parents gave her permision to walk and rome where she pleased as long as she didn't go outside the Kingdom Grounds or too far into the Forset directly behind her castle home. Of course, Ruby (Being such an adventureus soul) Decided to look farther into the "Forbidden" Forest one day and found a large tree in a clearing of the woods with a book set right beneath it on the ground. It was a Crimson red color and looked a little worn. As if it had been left outside for many years through rain and snow. (And indeed it had been left there) It had chains on it and a large lock right in the middle. Ruby Looked at the book for a brief moment then knelt down to pick it up. It seemed stuck hard to the ground. Like it had been glued down. She pulled and tore at the book, but it wouldn't budge. The chains were also stuck hard and tight to the book. There was something haunting about the book and She badly wanted to see what was on the inside. She decided that she would come back later and that she would bring a shovel and some other tools so she could try to remove it from it's firm grip in the ground. Later that night she gathered the things she wanted to take back and waited for the next afternoon. She cut her regular dancing class with her Mother short saying she needed air and didn't feel well. She left quickly and snuck to the Castle's Horse stables to retrieve the things she had gathered the night before. She walked through the forest until she came to the book again. Trying just once more for the heck of it, she pulled on the book. Nothing happened. It didn't move. She stood up and grabbed her shovel. She walked over to the book and began shoveling around it trying to see if the chains were burried in the ground. Nothing happened so she went to hit the Lock on the book with the shovel. Just before the shovel hit the book though she stopped.
"Kraehe?"
Came a voice in a soft whisper. The voice was deep and earie. Ruby was startled but decided to shrug it off and lifted the shovel again.
"No.. Not Kraehe.."
Ruby dropped the shovel that time and backed up panicking.
"Who's th-there?" She asked looking around franticly.
"You do look a lot like her though." The voice replied.
"You must be her daughter."
Ruby was VERY frightened and turned away running from the forest, and leaving the book and the tools behind. Though scared, she didn't tell her Mother, Father or anybody else about what had happened. Later that night she had a dream. She saw her Father a bit younger. He had a sword in his hands and was battling a scary looking crow. She also kept seeing flashes of a bright color clothed man who was very frightening and a Young girl in a black ballet suit. She kind of looked like Ruby's Mother. But... It couldn't be! Her Mother was a Queen. A beautiful, and kind queen. Yes she danced. Just like this girl in black was doing, but she wasn't evil or scary like thsi girl.
Ruby woke with a start. She was sweating and terrified.
She heard a voice repeat in her head. "You MUST Open that book. You MUST Open that book." She put her hands over her ears. "I don't Hear you!" She cried out. She looked around her room. Nobody was there. "I Won't ever go near that book again!" She crawled into bed and forced herself to sleep. And for a while she DIDN'T Go back to that book. But the longing within her heart to see what was on those pages prooved far to great.
When Ruby turned 15, she hadn't forgoten about the book; But she was still to frightened to go back and see about opening it. Despite her curiousity and fear of the book, she didn't tell her parents or anybody else in the castle about it. She felt it was best if only she knew of it.
The afternoon of her 16th birthday party, She had heard the voice in her head more then ever before. Sure, every now and again she'd hear a random "Open the book! Goooo baaack.." But it hadn't been happening so much anymore. Until her 16th birthday.
"Gooo baaaack, Open it, open it, open the boooook."
Ruby couldn't take it anymore, and excused herself from the main halls where the birthday celibration was taking place. She walked into the woods reluctantly and found the book. It had a few leaves and some dust on it but looked pretty much the same. She paused a moment and looked at it. Suddenly the silence was broken by a voice.
"What is your name?"
Ruby looked around. "who are you, And how are you speaking in my mind?"
"Tell me your name, And I'll Think about giving you mine." The voice replied.
"I uh... I'm Ruby. Daughter of King Mytho and Queen Rue."
The voice laughed with glee. "Of Course you are! It's miserably anoying when your own characters go and begin to write their own chapters with out so much as consulting you first though you know. I supose that you'll fit in with my new story idea though."
Ruby was VERY Confused. "What? Who ARE you!"
"Why I am the Writer. You may call me just that and nothing more. The Writer."
"Writer of what?"
"The Writer of great stories. Stories no doubt loved and hated all at once. I, dear child am the creator of the very soil you stand upon, and the air that your breath. I am the maker of your Father, as well as his foe. I am who you might call or consider your Grandfather in some ways."
"Wait. What do you mean You created the Soil I stand upon? What?" Ruby asked the voice.
"Oh dear me!" The voice said in a fake sarcastic tone.
"You mean your Mother and Father never told you about the world you live in? Or how they met?"
Ruby looked around herself wondering where the voice could be coming from. It seemed inside her head, and yet all around her.
"They only ever told me that They met when they were very young and have always loved eachother every much."
She answered.
The voice Laughed a loud and smirky laugh.
"Oh Good! That means when I tell you the truth, you'll be shocked and probably very angry at your parents! Thus giving you a reason to leave this realm and come into the real world!"
"Huh? What?"
"My dear Princess." The voice began. "I wrote a story called 'The Prince & The Raven' The prince in that story was your Father. Your Father had a foe who was a Raven king. Before I could finish that book I died. But insted of moving on as most souls do, I moved to the realm between that of heaven and hell and made myself comfortable there planning to finish my story one way or another. Your Father and the Raven king became fed up with the story being stuck at "And they battled on and on" and both escaped the book, to contenue and end their battle. Once outside the book, The raven prooved far to much for the prince, and so to save the good of the world He shattered his heart, which locked the evil Raven away. For a time. Your Father; Though he had no emotions made a few friends in the real world. One of them, if you'd call her a friend, was your Mother. She was a servant of the evil Raven. And wanted nothing more than to be with your Father. I truely wanted nothing more but to have a tragic ending to my tales. It was like my trade mark. Nobody likes "And they lived happily ever after" Stories anyway! They're really very silly when you think about it. But OF COURSE, Good prevailed and though, people and an anoying bundle of poultry were hurt, they moved past the pain and in the end "They all lived happily ever after." Your Father re-gained his emotions and returned here with The Crow Princess as his bride."
Ruby was shocked. "Are you saying... I live in a book?"
"That I am dear child. And the book you see before you on the ground is the only door and passage way from this world to the real one. I am still stuck in the realm between Heaven and Hell, however your Parents and a couple of their... ~Friends~ Tried to make it as hard as possible for me to manipulate anymore stories. But thankfully I see you have a VERY Open mind. The other people I have written about or even created have ignored my words for so long that They no longer hear me speaking to them. With your help I can begin to write new stories and finally get the ending I so badly want! Mowahahaha!!"
Ruby was scared and confused all at once. "But you said you wanted a sad ending... Why would anybody want to help you have any kind of power like that back?"
The voice replied: "I'm a changed man, really. I'd like to see a new ending. A Happy ending. Only YOU Can help me do that though Ruby."
Ruby paused a moment. "Is there a way to unlock the Book?.."
The Voice stopped laughing and spoke again. "The last I had heard about my story, which went on with out me, Thanks to a certain DUCK, Was that your Father kept a fragment of the Raven king's claw. It's the only key to the outside world. He hid it somewhere in the castle but I don't know where. Sence I've been ignored and the likes of that Fakir wrote that I couldn't see or watch any of you, visions from this world as well as the real one are fuzzy and fragmented for me now. But because you have answered and acknoledged my presence, I can see you pretty well in the blobs of blur. hahah"
"Who's... Fakir?"
The voice laughed again. "My oh my, This shall be fun! SO Much fun! With your help I could re-gain the strength I need to write again; And That will have a powerful affect against the stories Fakir is using to keep my abilities from staying strong and my stories from coming to life."
Ruby began to feel even more panicked. "I Don't get what you mean by I live in a ~Book~ But My Mom's not a CROW Princess and my Father hasn't ever battled any Ravens that I know of. And now you're talking about writing stories that come to life, and I'm so confused!"
"You Mother WAS the Princess of Crows and the Crow blood STILL Runs through her veins."
"She Isn't a Crow! and There aren't any other worlds out there!"
"Oh what a Sheltered life you have lead my dear child. I don't suppose the fact they lied to you matters. They're just the Inocent and loving parents you've always known. It doesn't bother you that they've kept so many secrets away from you, or that They wouldn't tell their PRECIOUS ONLY Daughter about a book she could use to explore another world? Hahahahah!!"
"You're Lying! You're Lying!"
"Am I?... When you return home, Go into your Mother and Father's room. In the top of their closet is a small book. It's filled with a few drawings That a friend of their's drew for them. Oh. And a Black feather."
"huh?"
"It's something I saw a short while before My ability to spy-er I mean watch over the realms became Far Far to blured to use anymore."
"If I find those things, what Am I supposed to do?"
"Well. If you find those things It will surely confirm that I didn't lie to you, and then you can make up your own mind. Wether or not you want to stay here that is."
"Stay here? Huh?"
"If You agree to help me, I will help you find a way out of this realm and into the real world."
Ruby's heart beat hard. What was she supposed to do or say? She Wanted to see if this Writer guy was telling the truth about her Parents and the idea of another world? A NEW Place she could visit and see more about, ecxited her very much. She couldn't understand the feeling, but she just HAD To open the book.
Before she could stop herself she said out loud:
"Deal."
"Be on your way then my Child."
Ruby walked confused and yet determened out of the woods.
The voice quietly laughed under his breath.
(In another realm a Man rocks back and forth in his Rocking chair smiling. "All children who love a good story, come gather 'round, for another one is about to begin! Mowahahahah!!! And this time, The tale WILL
Have a Tragic ending. hee hee ha ha ho ho!! No Crow, Duck, Prince or Princess can stop the pen in my
hand this time.")________________________________________ ____________
This short-story was JUST a Draft. It isn't as detailed or
long as it is going to be. Some things may even be changed.
This is just a quick sketch of Ruby dressed in what looks
to be a new designed Ballet suit. It has a Kraehe Aura to
it, wouldn't You agree? Mowhahahah (Coudln't help but do that sorry lol.
PLEASE Leave a comment to let me know if you'd like to hear more of my 'Raven' Story! I'd also like to know what you think of Ruby! Thanks!
