"Can You Hear Me Now?"
A Star Trek Parody.

I got the idea for this "Star Trek" Parody, while going through an assortment of Screen Captures from the Show I have saved to my computer to admire time and time again. One night, I saw that I had saved a great deal of Caps from a very old, rare and classic episode from the very first season (In 1967) The Episode was titled "This Side of Paradise" The main plot to the episode was that certain members of the Enterprise crew beamed down to a planet where they end up meeting up with a Young Woman who Spock used to know. (She is Human) But had always had a great big Crush on Spock. Spock, being half Vulcan though, showed little interest in her romantically. She tricks Spock and lures him to a Flower which spouts off a pollen which causes Spock to become dizzy, then he experiences side affects of having Emotions! He Smiles, Laughs, Frolics in the woods, and even thinks he's in love with the lady who lured him into her trap! Later on, even MORE Crew members find the flower to be quite "Nice" And seem to begin to act rather light hearted as well.. or totally different from themselves all together. I have many Caps from this episode and whether you may have seen this episode before or not, I can surely Assure you that my Parody is NOTHING like the episode from which these pictures came! With the right expression on any character's face, and a "Speech Bubble" Or sentence with an arrow on it pointing to somebody's head, you can make anything happen! ^_^

I got the Idea though, after seeing so many Caps of Spock talking into his communicator in this epi. I joked to my Brother "He looks like he's saying: CAN YOU HEAR ME NOW?" We laughed. And then I got an idea for a plot. And started to work on it. I over Dramatized Character's such as Captain Kirk (Because Let's face it, as much as many of us all Love William Shatner as Kirk, He did get a little.. say.. Over Dramatic in many scenes in many episodes.) I in NO WAY WHAT-SO-EVER Disrespect him however. As I am a HUGE William Shatner and Captain Kirk fan. I just over-Dramatized him and made him slightly... well.. air headed for this Joke story. Bones is rather funny in it, but as Far as attitude goes, I kept him pretty much in Character I think. Spock shows an awful lot of emotion in the Parody (For himself) And the basic plot is supposed to be that they're on a Planet, separated and Spock is soon to be under attack. His Communicator isn't working right, nor is Kirk's and everything ends up being a silly conversation that seems to get nowhere. I hope other Parody / STAR TREK Fans like it and will get as much of a laugh and fun out of it, as I did while making it!
